No, he's right. Musicians are stupid for taking sides in politics. Just from an economical standpoint: they're pissing off at least 50% of their audience. It's the dumbest thing you can ever do. Keep your political views separate from your work.

Gilmour is the more talented of the two. I like Gilmour's voice, it's soothing and not whiny like Waters's.

Gilmour had a great solo career. He's absolutely amazing on guitar. Check his solos on "Raise my rent". Fucking amazing.
